Casey moved from Georgia to Chicago by way of Las Vegas (don’t ask) to pursue a “career” in sketch comedy and, my goodness, look at her now. She has a background in improv, playwriting, and solo performance. Casey appeared in Forks & Hope’s The Hunting of the Snark, Just So Stories, and The Pied Piper of Hamelin and has performed as a storyteller at The Kates, The GoGo Show, and Storylab. Her original one-woman show Trapped in a Box earned her The League of Cincinnati Theaters award for Outstanding Solo Performance at the 2012 Cincy Fringe Fest. Other Chicago credits include League of Awesome, and Hey! Dancin’! (Factory Theater) and too many productions to list (Chemically Imbalanced). By day, she functions as a full time production manager and producer. By night, she barely functions at all.
